DAY 1: SAI GON - CAI BE - AN BINH - CAN THO (L, D)

7:00 am Pick up from Sai Gon by minivan, we make our way to Cai Be, which probably takes about 3 hours. Board boat at Cai Be pier to start the river cruise in Mekong. Take the small sampan boat for weaving into beautiful channels with coconut trees growing along the bank. Visit the coconut candy factory, and rice popcorn factory and taste their products right there. Enjoy great seasonal fruit at a fruit garden on a nice island named An Binh belonging to Vinh Long province.

11:30 am Have a delicious lunch in a peaceful environment on the island, then travel to the capital of the Mekong Delta

Enjoy your great lunch with delicious foods the Mekong region should offer at a local homestay on the island. Take your time to relax in the peaceful atmosphere at the homestay. Around 2:00 pm, the minivan brings you to Can Tho city, check-in at a beautiful 5-star hotel to enjoy great services there.

It is a great way to understand our Vietnamese traffic as well. evening food tour on foot around Can Tho downtown. Sample typical foods at local food stalls and restaurants; immersing yourselves in the breath of nightlife in this region. Visit famous sights in Can Tho including Old Market, Ong Pagoda, Ninh Kieu Quay.

DAY 2: MORNING CAN THO RIVER TOUR - SAI GON (B, L)

Cai Rang floating market

5:00 am Pick up at the hotel and board the boat for your river excursion. On a lovely sampan, we cruise on the Mekong River and visit the Cai Rang floating market at its busy time. What a fantastic feeling to see how traders keep balance while trading agricultural products on their boats.

Visit local noodles making the base to learn the process of making rice noodles in traditional ways. You will be offered Noodle Pizza, a specialty that is hard to find anywhere else (by yourselves).

Then the wooden boat will head to small, long, and narrow canals to explore the countryside and the local lifestyle of people around. Visit a dragon fruit garden to enjoy the fresh fruit on the tree.

10:00 am Discover rustic Mekong life on the bicycle

Cycling trip to the countryside

Transfer to the rest stop and your journey is continued by a nice cycling trip. Crossing the river on the local ferry, we start exploring the local daily activities of people living far away from the crowd of Can Tho city. Enjoy a peaceful moment when biking through a small village on a magnificent path.

1:00 pm End your tour and get back to Saigon downtown

Have lunch with delicious Mekong food offered at a nice-view restaurant. The private car picks you up and departs for Saigon downtown. The drive lasts about 3 and a half an hour depending on traffic and you are dropped off in Sai Gon at around 5:00 pm.
